DMI Information Processing Center, Inc has operated
programming in Chicago’s Austin community since 1984. In 2000
the Board of Directors saw the need for programs exclusively
geared toward the needs of school children in the community.
That same year DMI YOUth CAN began as a program of DMI
Information Processing Center, operating as an educational
center providing after school and summer, youth programming
year-round.
DMI YOUth CAN has been an integral non-profit organization in
the community by providing low-income individuals and youth with
education in art, music and computer technology. We give youth
the tools they need to excel both academically and artistically.
